Description:
Every few seconds, Galio’s next basic attack becomes empowered, dealing area magic damage around his target.

Support Usage:
🌀 Great for short trades in lane.
🛠️ Reset with spells
👊 Helps shove waves or pressure melee lanes.

Tips:
- Use the passive right after casting a spell for quick burst.
- Will be automaticly cast after Justice Punch if not canceled.

🔸 Q – Winds of War

Description:
Galio fires two wind gusts that collide, forming a tornado zone that deals damage over time.

Support Usage:
💢 Strong poke tool in lane.
🎯 Punishes enemies for bad positioning.
🔥 Combos well with CC for full zone burn.

Tips:
- Cast from bushes or fog for surprise damage.
- When close to enemy, travel time is almost instantaneous.

🔸 W – Shield of Durand

Description:
Galio charges a shield, reducing incoming damage. When released, he taunts enemies around him.

Support Usage:
🛡️ Fantastic peel and engage tool.

🚀 Main engage ability.
⛔ Great for interrupting channels like ultimates.
🏃 Can also be used defensively to escape.

Tips:
- You won't go backwards if you throw it from a wall.
- Throw it back to hit your target faster.

Description:
Galio takes flight and crashes down near an allied champion, granting a magic damage shield and knocking up enemies on impact.

The go-to keystone for most matchups. gives you the survivability you need after engaging, allowing you to absorb the enemy's retaliation. On top of that, it deals solid AoE damage, synergizing perfectly with your combo.

Shield Bash
This rune adds a surprising burst of damage during trades, especially in early laning. Since you're often applying your passive, the extra damage stacks up quickly.

💡 Font of Life can be used versus heavy poke lanes or short trades lanes, but its impact is minimal since it's hard to reliably apply it in many matchups.

🧱 Flex Options – Adapt to Your Opponent
All three runes in this row are viable depending on your lane:

- 🦴: Best into aggressive lanes or engage supports (e.g. , ). It helps mitigate their initial combo.
- 💨: Excellent vs poke lanes or ranged supports. Works surprisingly well because your passive magic shield will trigger its healing, often catching opponents off guard.
- 🛡️: Choose this when you're confident the lane will be calm and farm-heavy. It scales hard into mid-game by giving bonus resistances, which also boost your damage thanks to Galio's scaling.

Overgrowth (Picked 99% of the time!)
gives extra max HP, which is crucial for activating Warmog's Armor's passive in the mid-late game. The synergy here is just too good to pass up.
